Support O’Bryant Team Nicaragua 2012

18 students from the John D. O’Bryant Talented & Gifted Latino Club (TAG) and from Cambridge Rindge & Latin Girls’ soccer team will be traveling to Jinotega, Nicaragua during their April Vacation for a service-learning trip where they will be mentoring and teaching impoverished pre-school age children and elementary and middle school students. 

These 20 students will be teaching Spanish literacy, math, English, arts and crafts, soccer, volleyball and baseball as well as helping with the feeding of hundreds of local youth and the construction of a new community center.   

This raffle supports this endeavor and 100% of the earnings from this raffle goes to the travel program listed on your ticket and will pay for travel costs, room and board and monetary donations for the pre-school and after school program @ 360 Outreach including the construction of the new community center.  For more information please go to http://teamnicaragua2012.blogspot.com/ or email ppittsdilley@boston.k12.ma.us  

The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at

5:00 p.m. at 26 Court St., Boston. Winners will be notified on the evening of the 21^st. 

Raffle Tickets:   1 ticket  $2

                           3 tickets $5

1^st Prize:  Apple IPAD 16GB (Wi-Fi and 3G capability)

2^nd Prize: 1 Night Stay at the Copley Fairmont Hotel

                              (Good until November 5, 2012. Note:  This overnight stay is for those ages 21 and above.)

3^rd Prize:  $100 gift card to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

4^th Prize:  $75 gift card to Best Buy

5^th Prize:  $50 gift card to Foot Locker
